Holcomb Elementary School will be hosting a Fall Walk on Friday, October 30th from 5:15 pm - 6:45 pm. What is a Fall Walk? Staff and Volunteers will be staffing each exterior door to Holcomb and will have a small gift, piece of candy, or other item that will be the "theme" of that particular stop. Students may wear costumes, however they should not be scary or violent in nature. All students at the Holcomb Fall Walk need to have parents/guardians with them. This is not a drop-off event.

Dine out for Holcomb at Mike's Drive-In Oregon City on Wednesday, September 23rd from 4 pm - 8 pm. Mike's will donate 25% of all regular-priced sales to Holcomb PTA. Present this ad (digital or printed copy) or mention the fundraiser so cashiers can apply the promo code COMB to your order.

Holcomb Elementary Back-to-School Night is on September 22 at 5:30 PM.
Meet teachers, tour classrooms, and learn about the year ahead.
See you there! #BackToSchoolNight

Holcomb Back to School Night is scheduled for Tuesday, September 22nd, from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
It is a drop-in event, so you do not need to show up right aft 5:30 PM. You may drop in at a time that works best for your schedule. You may park in our Holcomb parking lot and along any of the side streets off of Pasture Way. The only spot we discourage you from parking is in the apartment complex next door to us. Those parking spots are for apartment residents only - please honor that.
If you have not turned in school supplies and would like to, you can at this event. We look forward to seeing all families and students!

No lunch money needed! OCSD students can receive breakfast and lunch at school at no cost.
A nutritious meal helps students start the day ready to learn and stay focused through the afternoon. Students do not need to bring lunch money or pay at the cafeteria to receive their school breakfast and lunch.
Visit the nutrition webpage for a need-to-know meals guide with the details.
Families are encouraged to talk with students about taking advantage of school meals, which are an important part of supporting student learning, health and well-being.

🎉 Big day at Holcomb Elementary!
This morning, we broke ground at Holcomb Elementary for our phase 2 bond projects— and we couldn't be more excited for what's ahead.
Holcomb Elementary's current building has served Oregon City families since 1966. Sixty years later, it's time for a refresh — and thanks to the 2025 Bond, Holcomb is getting safety and security enhancements, essential infrastructure updates including new roofs, plumbing, flooring, windows, electrical systems, and HVAC, accessibility improvements, and updated classrooms and learning spaces.
Bremik Construction was selected as the construction manager/general contractor for the Holcomb project, and we're happy to partner with a team that shares our commitment to our students and the community.
This is a Phase 2 project under the 2025 Bond — made possible because Oregon City voters said yes to investing in our schools. 🏗️💛
Construction will soon be underway, and we can't wait to show you what's coming. Follow along for updates at ocschoolbond.org, or our 2025 Bond's social media channels!
